If you cannot check in and start a journey in the Rejsekort app, you can try these five tips:

1. Wait 10–15 seconds
Give the Rejsekort app time to find the nearest station. It may take a moment.

2. Check your location
Make sure your location in Maps or Google Maps is correct. The Rejsekort app needs to know where you are in order to start your journey.

3. Make sure you have an internet connection
Check that you can access the internet using Safari or Chrome. The Rejsekort app needs an internet connection to work correctly.

4. Close and reopen the Rejsekort app
If you are still experiencing problems, close the Rejsekort app completely. You can do this by opening your phone’s app switcher and swiping the Rejsekort app away. Then open the app again and try to start your journey.

5. Check your phone’s compatibility
Make sure your phone meets the requirements for using the Rejsekort app.

Two common issues in the Rejsekort app

1. Network issues

Turn off Wi-Fi, as some public Wi-Fi networks do not provide internet access unless you log in (for example, free Wi-Fi at train stations or on buses).
Make sure that the Rejsekort app is allowed to use mobile data.
As a general rule, it is a good idea to try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data.

2. Location issues

Make sure your phone’s location services are turned on.
On iPhone, check that your phone’s time is set to update automatically.
If you use an Android phone, follow the specific instructions for resolving location issues.
